#MindsetReset

I don’t do new year’s resolutions, but I am ready for some growth this year. Some goals: put to death my narcissism & perfectionism, choose to live with more grace & vulnerability.

One tool I’m planning to start with is a month of coaching from author/speaker/rockstar Mel Robbins. If you happen to have missed my Facebook posts about it and want to join up, here’s a link to the FREE #MindsetReset

Mel is awesome, and God has totally used her to push me forward in 2018. This year, I’m looking forward to hearing Mel’s thoughts and finding grounding in scripture to be the best me. You don’t have to agree with Mel; I don’t always. You don’t have to agree with me (I don’t always lol). But I’ll put some thoughts here in case they may serve to encourage you, friend. Here’s a little something to get us started:

{Romans 6:6-11, Galatians 2:20, 2 Corinthians 4:6 ESV}
We know that
our old self was crucified with Him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him. I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. For God who said, “Let light shine out of the darkness,” (Gen. 1:3) has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

I’m pretty certain that putting to death the me that has lived enslaved to fear won’t be easy. It will be good. Thanks for being there with me, friend. And, if you don’t know Jesus personally, let’s chat – that’s way more significant than my blog.
